January 24 2017 Every real blacksmith needs to have a special mark he uses to stamp projects he has completed. It shows the world who made an item and that the person who made the items was proud enough to let the world know. I finally have my own mark and you can certainly expect to start seeing it on my work. February 02 2017 I was featured in the winter edition of the iron trillium which is the magazine produced by the Ontario Artist Blacksmith Association. I did a tutorial for how to make a heart base candle holder in a step by step way which will allow it to be reproduced by other smiths. I was very proud of this achievement because it was the first time I got to share one of my original pieces with my piers. October 01 2017 I was featured in the fall edition of the OABA magazine the iron trillium, this time it was not for my blacksmithing work but rather for a pumpkin stencil I designed which features a skeletal blacksmith hard at work at his forge just in time for Halloween. Not a member of OABA? That’s fine you can find the design at this link. It’s a free download and you can browse some of my smithing work as well. https://kingsvalleyforge.deviantart.com/art/Skeletal-Smith-Pumpkin-Stencil-639907371 November 18 th  2017 Well with the Christmas season fast approaching I have signed myself up for 2 more craft shows and am spending a lot of time at the forge getting ready for them. I have begun making Christmas ornaments which are always popular and restocking from all the stock I sold at my last show.   December 02 2017 I will be attending the craft show at the Bovaird House in Brampton from noon to 5pm with an assortment of items just in time for Christmas, from decorations to gift ideas. Feel free to stop by and take a look. December 09 2017 This will be my last show of the year. I will be attending the Brampton one of a kind show at the Brampton fair grounds. Come by and say hi.
